Tornado Group Canada is the parent company of Tornado Building Maintenance and Sunco Properties INC. Tornado Building Maintenance was established by CEO Jim Sundar in Edmonton, Alberta, 1971. After producing quality results for his growing clientele, the company experienced rapid growth by 1974 and secured federal, provincial, and municipal government contracts, which serviced millions of square feet on a 24/7 basis. As growth furthered, Jim expanded his operations into British Columbia in 2006.

Since then, Tornado Building Maintenance has grown to become one of Western Canada's largest commercial cleaners, where we confidently embrace our responsibility to ensure some of British Columbia's top attractions offer a clean experience to many locals and tourists.

Following in the entrepreneurial footsteps of his father, Darren Sundar established Sunco Properties INC in 2015, where the primary focus is to provide commercial services for real estate developers, property managers and strata residences. For over 20 years, Darren oversaw operations for Tornado Building Maintenance, where he developed the knowledge and experience needed to successfully build the Sunco Brand.
